After searching for more than 22 years, Canadian oil explorer, CGX has struck oil in commercial quantities at the Kawa-1 well offshore the Corentyne.
Sources close to the company says further evaluations still have to be done of the quality and depth of oil found.
Trading of the company’s stock on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol oyl was halted this afternoon, usually a sign of an impending material announcement.
According to sources, the company informed the Guyana Government and an announcement of the find will soon be made public.

Congrats! Holding for earnings 2/22/22 at the least. Trying to hold for the $10 mark gotta believe it will happen with demand and if virus bullshit stays under control.
It sure is sweet seeing $200K in gains with that stock.

I have to thank you for keeping the faith and helping me stay convicted. I sure felt like an idiot a few times after she ran hard only to bleed away lots of green. She always rebounded to higher highs though eventually.

I cut tech for smaller losses earlier this month and debating when to jump back. I have 35+ years for it to grow.

Glad you’re in it! I got my avg down to $1.01 during that great shake out a couple months ago when it was in the .70’s. Wish I would have bought a lot more though! I concur with those. Put it in there and don't look at it the rest of your life. Make regular contributions every month for 20-30 years and you'll have a nice chunk of change. If the whole stock market takes a shit we have bigger problems to worry about.

She may run to $5+, but for the $5K outlay and the 60 day hold those $18K in profits are a really sweet start to '22. This was always a swing trade for me.
