Don't think tech will slow down if anything it will pick up. How many emerging markets rely on tech and so many big tech companies are coming out with new products throughout the year. Slight corrections yes but beyond that I don't see that market taking a major hit...im hoping

Big tech may be immune but rising rates are no good for speculative start ups with poor or negative earnings. Their valuations may start to matter.

Wow PayPal sure dropped today. Glad I dumped at 180 last year. That's one stock I thought had potential. Wonder if drop below a 100 like pre pandemic?

At least lucked out with AMD. Bought 650 shares last week

Yep I bought the hell out of the drop to the $170s and sold around $200 but holding half cost me. Not sure what do with this one.

Buy the fear, fa... well, you know. Warren Buffet.

I wouldn't throw money at paypal. I am assuming part of the decline is users moving away from using it due to the new $600 rule. Maybe im wrong but just my guess.
Yep, astute assumption there.
I won't jump in, but it'll probably roar back. Anecdotal, but still a solid company.

Nice to see GTE at $1.00. Ridiculous that it's not twice that.

I agree, I think after a while people will figure it out and it will come back. Especially since Paypal also owns Venmo which is one of the most popular platforms for friend to friend transfers. I just don't know when that will be...

Paypal is down because they discovered they been paying a bunch of new start up accounts that ended up all being created by bots.

GTE algos obviously locked into the $1.01 barrier. Today will make it the 4th time it's hit that exact number since last October.

Well they are trying to make a liar out of me :)
