Hi guys, I really want to shoot a bear this spring but have not been successful yet if anyone has any tips on where to go kind of near the mat su valley that would be great as I don't have a lot of time to make a long drive. Also is it even worth trying anymore at this point, am I too late?

Cooper landing. Hope. Palmer creek road. Glassing from the highway works.
Mat valley isn’t great for any of it. The mtns north of town have blackies in them. Pioneer peak has a lot of it but it’s hard to hunt. eska falls trails have some as well. Time in the glass. Bears will be out there all summer!
