Finished strong today! And there was a 250k buy at 1.58 right at close. I’m going to tell myself that guy knows something we don’t and is expecting rockets tomorrow morning.

Yep, great run here. Completely organic too, slow and steady. Hoping for the $4-5 rainbow.
All solid oilers should continue this trend.
 
I have been a "creeper" here since day one. You all have made me some great returns on my investment. For someone with not a lot of "trading knowledge/experience" I appreciate the help. For that I say thank you and 100% understand all risk is on me.

Two questions:

GTE at .38 for most of the day today. I am not in on this one, but I did get in on CDEV and FET amongst others a while back and am sitting pretty. Just curious on your feelings about GTE where it sits currently.

And as have others asked about, ABNB. Is that a buy for tomorrow or wait for the dust to settle type thing?

My wife was squealing at me for not taking profits on GTE, I had to explain and show her that the reason that my CDEV is up almost $25,000 is patience. Far more important to me is resistance and a solid footing for a stock. Hopefully GTE is finding bottom right now. If all of these oilers go, GTE will go as well. It's a solid company, and yesterday's good news didn't hurt a bit either.
 
A lot of chatter for C3.ai IPO tomorrow. Target price of $36-$38. The way IPO's have been going it could be an easy flip
 
Just bought 60 shares of Shockwave Medical. 3rd party insurance companies surrounding lithotripsy applications will be reimbursed for this device and when this happens this stock will blow up. Only a matter of time. Doctors & and the cath lab workers love it. This should double in the next year. SWAV

Quantumscape is on fire.

I bought warrants 3 months ago. Thinking about reducing my position a bit tomorrow.

Picked up a bunch of QS on the opener. Sold at $54 today. Fingers crossed it dips back down. That and some of these solar stocks are next on my buy list. If there is a pullback when this post-holiday COVID surge hits, I'll be into QS and them big time. Also going to pick up some Airbnb on Thursday.

Ammo Inc is one of the few companies that have been able to get ammo to our local store. 50 cents a round for 9mm, profit margins should be stellar.

Same here. I’ve got some PFE $40 and $42 calls. It was hard to not sell today but I’m glad I didn’t cause the stock is up another $0.44 after hours...

Yesterday at premarket I was trying to scalp this one. It dipped to 3.68, by the time I had typed 3.75 it had moved to $4. I was hard headed, not moving, the 3.75 didn’t fill. It immediately ran to 7.90 right after open, dammit!

So these big runners are scalp plays, once they’ve popped way up I stay out, or you end up chasing and bag holding. Most of them fade back close to where they were within a few days/week, there are exceptions but usually a stock valued at $1 on Monday is not worth $6 on Tuesday because of some news release.

I’m currently learning a new early strategy for these early runners, don’t have it locked in yet , testing it out now. There a a lot of people who play from 4am-10am, done for the day on these scalps as a full time gig, but they never swing or hold them, too unpredictable for these parabolic runners.
