I’m currently looking at Nat Gas sector for a candidate…. or possibly even just the ETF…. i’m just not sure to what degree that sector will come back.

Is this sector going to be like oil was after COVID? The 2 ETFs I looked at are significantly below their 5 year lows. It has to come back, doesn't it?

NG looking ugly. 10y monthly chart showing previous support not far below. Daily chart is showing signs of turning but not confirmed quite yet. I haven't been following NG as much as the oil but I'm thinking there's $$$ to made here, just when I don't know. Looking prime though.

I’m not afraid to buy when its down…I do as many of you do…look at future fundamentals. The question to me is can the current admin run nat gas out the door so quickly? I think not….but I also dont see it hitting its highs of the past couple of years.

Anything that gets us into a war and oil/gas will be a rocketship. The current admin just might be that stupid.

Does anyone follow ASRT, MYSZ- these came up on my percentage movers recently, but I know very little about them?

what about NIO, CCIV, RTP?

Shows how much certain things appear on my radar. I had no clue NG prices were dropping. I had assumed that, given the Russia-Ukraine thing is still going on, prices were still relatively high. BOIL looks pretty interesting at current price in the low 3's. 52 week high is $140, and even the historically low prices in the low 20's from mid 2020 to mid 2021 would be pretty huge profits. But then again, I don't really know what I'm talking about since I didn't even know NG was down to start with.

Nat gas; The promise of massive LNG shipments is a long ways out…typical sell the sizzle. Its a valuable commodity thatis undervalued. I‘m looking for a signal that they approve more pipelines…the admin was supposed to as part of their deal with Manchin to vote for that $1.9T bill….but then the admin lied to him so that quashed the pipeline manchin wanted.

FWIW, I have been playing PTON for the eps. I bought it in the sevens for before their last earnings and sold at about 17. I just bought some more today at $9.62 earnings announcement is May 5. I doubt we will get to 17 maybe 12 … but then it could drop down into the seven or eight range too. Its Risky.

they have been cutting classes and cutting costs like crazy, and they are much more efficient but of course they have lost some of the subscribers that they had during the pandemic.

They have a bit of a sketchy plan where they give the $2,000 bikes as a loss leader to acquire subs. They give folks the bikes for like $150 and it takes them two years to really show a profit. Thats sketchy as those folks have no skin in the game and it could backfire. I do think it is short term accretive For now…the 2 yr mark will tell.

The thing I look for in Peloton is if they can turn to positive earnings and stay there. They are an acquisition candidate. Did I say it’s risky? Grin

I’m at 1.22 after selling out at 1.37 last time. Didn’t buy as deep this time tho, didn’t feel like taking as big of a bet this time around. So far it’s proving me to have messed up.

What to do? Make monthly, incremental, deposits into a SPY account. And do it for an adult lifetime.

in doing so, you will be vastly further ahead than chasing penny or zombie stocks hoping to get lucky.
This is the way if you are not willing to put in the hundreds and maybe thousands of hours it takes to be confident and learn the skills to make your own trades and not rely on tips or trade ideas from others.

any thoughts on JOBY?

*Joby Aviation, Inc. (NYSE:JOBY), a company developing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, today announced the third extension of its Agility Prime contract with the United States Air Force. The $55 million contract extension brings the total potential value of Joby's current contract with the Air Force up to $131 million and underlines the U.S. government's continued commitment to leadership in this new sector.*
