The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

$F call - absolutely destroyed, glad I only had one ... 66% loss
$MRNA call - 3% loss
$SPY call - 48% profit

Decided I am done with RobinDaHood today, initiated the transfer to Fidelity. Active Trader Pro delivers me so much more in an instant look. I have to dig all over in Robinhood for the same info and pay a fee to read its news.... dumb.

It has benefits for a new trader though and anyone new id recommend start there till they learn

Up 5.3% today and 8.3% on the week. Still took a lot of licks the last 8 weeks.

Saw $EBAY was showing unusual call activity when it was in the red. Looked and they got smoked. Bought a few calls on that at the bottom of the drop.
 
It seems GTE will pop once they come out and beat their quarterly earnings reports which they should since they forecasted prices being in the $40s and its been in the $60s for a while now. Hedgers beating on who they can for the time being. This gal will come around as like like others for big profits Q3/Q4.
 
Not much action today in my portfolio, sold some CCIV and rebought em all $.20 lower. It ain't much but I keeps me from getting too bored.

I took my 8% and got out. I have a meeting here in a bit and can't watch it. Worried it's going to take a Friday lunch time dump. Was hoping it would take off this morning but that never materialized.

If you don't mind me asking, what are you using for a scanner? I've been toying around with ToS but haven't had a lot of time to mess with yet.

Scanner copied and modified from others. I've scratch built some as well. I can send you a TOS share link for one to get started with that works well for momentum day trade movers. Lot's of ways to set them up and tweak them. If you need help importing and loading it PM me.

I’m surprised no mention of RECAF/RNSFF lately. It has run a lot in the last two weeks, but longer term may have MUCH more upside. It is a riskier play, but may be worth a look for some.
 
Saturday Market Research. SPY Sector Rotation. What is on the chart is generally delayed so what you see on the chart will tend to show up in the market 1-2 weeks out. That said this is not gospel (sectors can turn anytime), just an indicator as to what to watch for and where things may be headed. We can see energy is bottomed out. I'll be watching.
