i had a wild hair and sold my CCIV for a .5% gain, and bought a pile of RHE @ $13.00 this A.M. It's currently running like crazy and i'm up almost 40%. Gonna have to burn a day trade on TD and sell it to lock in some profit in this damn bloody market.

I think a wise choice.

What's everyone's opinion on Dogecoin and ETH? Is it still worth getting in on and riding it out or is a person too late?
My personal opinion on Doge is that it's worthless & only being pumped up by the Musk, Cuban & Reddit guys. It is basically useless as far as utility. I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole back when it was 5 cents & definitely wouldn't now. Unless you just wanna throw some excess cash on the roulette wheel & ride it out. Maybe I'm wrong & I hope y'all make a fortune on it but as far as an investment I'm out.

I think ETH will be provide better returns than BTC going forward just because it has so much utility & there's so many developers building on it & institutions jumping onboard. Some of the smart guys think a legitimate target for this year is around $4,500 or even higher after the ETH 2.0 roll out later this year.
I'd probably keep my powder dry at this level & load up on one of the 20% + dips

I know nothing about crypto so take this for what its worth.

I bought $30 worth of DOGE and waited for it to double, then sold $30 worth of it to cover my initial investment. I am just riding the rest out. I cant lose any money at this point. Going to be a hero or zero. I cant say that I would jump into DOGE at this point but I do think it will hit $1 at some point.

My theory with DOGE was about 10 years ago my buddy told me the smartest thing I could do is put 100 bucks into BTC and never look at it until I retired. I didnt do it and if I had that 100 bucks would be worth about 12.5 million. So, I figured with DOGE I would get in early, cover my initial investment and then just let it ride.

ETH would be a better long term investment over DOGE.

Kind of in the same boat, a couple of co-workers did invest several hundred in BTC about 10 years ago and really wanted us to get in on it as well. I thought is was silly and did not, some sold theirs for a good profit and a couple let it ride and are sitting on it still. Needless to say, I wish I would have listened to them.

I'm defiantly not putting any money anywhere I can't afford to lose, I sold $1200 worth of antlers last week and I figure I might as well play around with some of it.

Just to clarify, what exactly do you mean by "fireworks?"
We've done 4x in market cap since Christmas and I think it easily goes over $10 T by the end of the year.

Dogecoin is a meme coin. It's trash. As stated above, it's only being pushed so early buyers like Musk and Cuban can make more and more money off people playing into the hype. That's it. You could double your money, or it could go to $0 tomorrow. May as well go play colors on Rolette IMO. Because of how it's coded, it's eventually destined to go to $0. All coins in the top 100 have a use case. Some are smart contracts, DEFI, NFTs, etc. In the case of BTC, it's a deflation-proof asset. There are currently about 19 million in circulation out of a maximum total of 21 million. In the case of Dogecoin, it was created as a joke and has an infinite max supply. In fact, there are 10,000 new coins pushed out on the network EVERY SINGLE MINUTE. So if doge goes to $10 per coin, it will take $100,000 coming into the market every minute just to keep it there. Feel free to buy some and play your luck, but just know what you're getting into. The game is over once the handful of big wallets decide to sell; which could be any minute.

I personally think ETH and anything on the ETH network is a good play. The problem with ETH was the fees and the fact that there is no max supply. That is all changing with new coding. The reason we saw the latest bump is because of the updates. The Berlin hard fork a few weeks ago predictably bumped up ETH after it lowered fees and the London hard fork coming in July will solve more problems with both fees and will finally start to limit max supply. Big bull plays for me on anything on the ETH network. ETH, UNI, SNX, AAVE, COMP, etc.

I wouldn’t buy it right now. I’m holding both as well as ETC (which is up 800% for me.)They will both dip again, mostly certainly in a significant way. I’d wait for $2500 on ETH and 30 cents on Dogecoin.

Check, I've heard the same thing. My buddies who know much more about macroeconomics than me all say they can't find much of a downside for ETH especially. Speaking of which...

Anyone else hopping on this solar sale? Where most of my long plays are. Don't seem to be many scenarios where that industry does *not* grow exponentially over the next few years.

Paper hands here. I bailed on 75% of my GTE today at .80 and then set a stop on the rest. No shame here, I prefer the quick in and out. I try to keep my bags light and don’t look back.

So for you crypto guys do you think selling my bitcoin and rolling it into to ETH would be a wise play or let the bitcoin ride and add some ETH as I can? I like the sound of eth long term.

Personally, I have the same amount of money in BTC, ETH and ETC. I wouldn’t give up on BTC, but I’d also be careful about having too much of your portfolio invested in Crypto or a single crypto currency. My advice is to buy some ETH here and there opportunistically.

I try not to sell any BTC. Although yesterday I did swap some for a couple projects because I wanted in them and didn't want to forfeit any ETH for them.

This graphic is going off historical trends FWIW. The flippening is in motion, but I don't think it happens until the fall. altseason.PNG
