Did anyone check this out? I cashed out yesterday with a $7300 profit in less than 24 hrs but second guessing my sell. Might not be done. They have a online countdown to some kind of press release that has been the catalyst to it pumping so much every day. Pretty interesting. Just don’t want to get caught when it finally tanks.

I looked them up but got distracted and never ended up getting any. Still might. When is the press release? After a quick search I didn’t see much...

Coop when looking at charts like you posted, is there a ‘typical’ timeframe you’re analyzing when looking for trends like that? Or would it be somewhat apparent over multiple timeframes (ie daily, weekly, monthly charts)? I realize part of what I’m asking depends on what the market has been doing and for how long. I guess when looking for that rising wedge in particular, would you be looking more on daily charts for that trend?

So if I’m swinging something, I’m looking at the daily or weekly for a trend, hourly and minute for when I’m buying. If a stock tends to bounce in the morning, fall in the afternoon, I don’t want to buy first thing. Looking for patterns scalping or running.

For the indices, I’m looking at daily, weekly.

The one i missed this week, NTN, it tends to bounce of the $2 area recently and I forgot to reset my alert. Well it hit the $2 area and then ran to $3.14, dammit. New alert set now, but I will check the charts before buying, make sure nothing has changed.

What are some good choices to drop 1000 on one stock for long term reliable growth? I was thinking Apple or Exxon. No penny stock stuff as I already dabble in that arena.

I'm a rookie at this, but Boeing is still way low for a long term buy. Not as good of a buy as when it was in the low $100s, but still a solid buy right now. They are getting the 737 Max flying again, and hopefully air travel picks back up.

I've got long holds in WM (Waste Management). Always a steady growth and maintains a good dividend that was recently increased. There will always be garbage/recycling. Not a get rich quickly stock by any means. Very good recession proof stock though.

I absolutely don’t know enough to have an opinion of any real value. Never played in stocks till this past March. Sitting pretty good right now. But I’m starting to get that feeling like it’s done too good for too long. Just seems like the potential for the market to sink is right around the corner everytime u turn on the TV. Thinking about selling all my positions and just sitting in it for a while and see what happens. Any real downside to that other than missing out on some gains?

Depends when you bought the shares in your portfolio. You will be taxed heavily on short holds (less than 1 year) compared to long holds (over 1 year). You can always trim your positions to secure profits and minimize downside risk and/or set a stop loss or trailing stop loss which run the risk of tripping out on a dip but preventing losses on large scale pullback. My settled funds collect interest in my Etrade Acct which is a bonus. I always have cash on sidelines so I'm ready for buying opportunities that present themselves.

Current expectation of a pullback I'm seeing is January to March. Keep in mind it's a floating target and subject to change. So many things are in play, New COVID strain, FED injection of $$, etc.. You just have to watch and decide when to pull the plug. Hopefully you pull it around the right time and wait for the correction. I hope the correction will be as big as I'm hearing, that'll make us some $$ if timed right.

So the guys who called FUBO from $10, said they are going to buy back about 40% of planned amount at $35, they think it may hit $30 then add the other 60%. Watching as well for these levels

Did you ever grab any?

NETE signed deal with merger for up to 10k electric vehicles. I’m in for an overnight swing at high 17s
