My second MDT stock won't be here until Monday, but the Woox Wildman I ordered for the Grendel came today. So I stuffed the 6ARC into 'er instead. After dinking around with it, I actually prefer it over the MDT. So I'll drop the Grendel into the MDT when it gets here instead. Can't wait to whomp an elk with the little 6.....

I got a gen 2 22cm that I’m hoping will slide right into this!! Will get pics posted, hopefully soon. So much for my ā€œbudget buildā€ šŸ˜©šŸ˜‚

The other MDT stock came today. The original plan was to put both ARC's in like stocks and toss the Woox on the Grendel. But since I like the Woox better, it'll stay on the little 6 and the second MDT will dress up the night rifle.

If you don't mind me asking, what is it about the Woox that you like better then the MDT. Looks, feel, fit, function....Considering the MDT and interested in your feedback between the two. Thanks

The Woox is better engineered. Instead of the rear action screw holding the BM on, the rear action screw holds the action in the blocks, until the front action screw is tightened after installing the BM. Then, there is another screw at the rear of the trigger guard. No need to dick with removing the mag release pins/latch to access the rear action screw like everyone else does. I like the balance of the Woox better, too. And it's not as chunky, more refined. Not too keen with the checkering on either, but smooth walnut with each, is not an option. The one thing I don't like about the Woox, is the Jard Gen2 trigger turns into a two-position like the Gen1. No biggie, a couple minutes with a carbide cutter in the trusty ol' Dremel cures that woe, and makes the world right again.....
