The Rokslide 95 (Ruger American 😁)

RA .308 in a Sharps Brothers chassis, Precision Armament severe duty comp,
Timney trigger, MDT elite grip, Ultradyne stock, topped with a Trijicon Credo HX 2.5-15x42, on a EGW HD base with Warne Mountain Tech rings.
5 rounds yesterday with Lake City 7.62, I can not shoot a group without a flyer, its just how my life is.

RAR 3 (The Dave) shooting ADI 69’s.
Worked the bolt and my rear bag fell off the bench braking my position. Really screwed the pooch for me because I had a good one going.

Same rifle with 77 TMK’s. Just like the rest of them. 😁

Combo is similar to the others.
RAR 5.56+Athlon Argos (4-20 on this one)+Monstrum rings=1.5 MOA for 10. 😁😁

I bought a RA Go Wild in 7PRC a few months ago and it has been consistently Sub -MOA. I qualified for the Rokslide cold-bore challenge with it this year. I polished down the bolt to mirror and I hand lapped the action, definitely 95% Tikka smooth. Turned down the factory trigger and while not perfect, it’s acceptable. A lot of performance for the money.

I added a SRS ARCA rail - of note: the factory stock has hexagonal ports to accept number 10 nuts for rail attachment, a really convenient feature:

Here’s my cold bore shots with it:

@686. I’ve bolted stuff to the bottom of mine in the same manner. Really convenient.

Picked up a Gen 2 in 6 ARC today. I really like the 3 position safety and the action is noticeably smoother than my Gen 1’s out of the box.
The stock seems to be more flexible than the Gen 1’s. Although I do like the finish better.
It would need some serious relief in the barrel channel to not contact the barrel.
I didn’t notice any issues off the bipods today. But if this stocks stays with this rifle, it will get some work. IMG_3869.jpegIMG_3875.jpeg

(5) Hornady 103 ELDX (Shots 31-35).
(High right shot was an earlier bore sight.)

RAR Ranch rifle in 5.56/223. At just under $400 it was an easy decision. With the complimentary youth stock that Ruger sent to me, this will be the rifle that my kids use when they're old enough to start hunting. I've come to love the 16" barrel.

With a 3-9 Burris ballistic plex scope, it isn't exactly Rokslide-approved. I like it a lot, however. It's not as slick as a Tikka compact, and I won't pretend that it's in the same league. But it's a ton of fun.

I want one

The 16 inch barrel would be amazing for deer hunting from a saddle, box blind, carrying, looking at, playing with whatever

I just need to tell my wife its for the baby

And the baby needs a surpressor for uh safety?

Traded the 6 ARC for a Gen 2 Ranch in 5.56
Shown is a 15 round group with ADI 69’s. I think it shows some promise.
Traded back to the 6 ARC.
I’m going to try some 95 Ballistic Tips/Leverevolution when I get some time.

Make up your mind:ROFLMAO:
Due to a couple different reasons I believe I have for now.
(1). I really like the 6 ARC cartridge.
(2). I came to the realization that I didn’t need 4 RAR 223’s.
(3). My buddy traded the 223 I had traded back to him.
😀😀

I could see it being a neat round. I keep saying once I get all my grendel ammo burned up I'll swap over to it. I most likely wont though

4 223's is getting close to the right amount. Though that is a lot of RAR's
I like the 6 ARC for small powder charge, SRP, cheaper brass, cheaper mags and basically 223 recoil with better BC.

And I did have 5 223’s at the time. A Tikka snuck in there at some point. I decided to keep it. 😁

So for now (1) RAR 223 and (1) RA 6 ARC.

For now. 😁😁😁😁

I have several hundred rounds on my RAR/KRG setup, so far I like the stock, but I am not a fan of the AICS mags. BLJ send me a link to a chassis system that I am going to try. It still uses AICS mags, but as an AR guy, I really want to try the chassis. This one was more affordable and offered a better rail than most. It should be here in a few weeks and I will give an update.
