What is the maximum COAL for the 6UM with the 117 dtacs and new TMKs?

My one other rifle smashes the tips of the bullets in the magazine when shooting the first shot. It also seats the bullets around 0.015" deeper into the case. Sucks to have a rifle that is essentially a shingle shot consistency and bullet performance wise.

Recommendations on a magazine setup that works well and does not present this issue for a Defiance action?

This is what I run on my 6um build, factory 700 action, feed ramp machined of course. Have about 200rds on it with zero issues

Modifying the defiance short action to take the UM 3.150 mag will be a butcher job. I'd sell it and get a newer production bat igniter, Bumblebee Vesper or a Pierce Shadow. All these actions are. Designed around the XL load port to run this setup.

With the current freebore inside a 6um, touching the lands will be pretty long, 3.070 or so, without much of bullet in the neck.

Yeah, it looks like the Anti X short action doesn't have a large enough action port length at 2.820" to accommodate the UM 3.150 mag. The medium length does though with 3.170".

My research shows that a defiance medium action matches the standard Remington 700 short action footprint. (what a bunch of confusion).

I do not own the action yet, but am somewhat tied to Defiance, although I may be able to get out of it.

Defiance medium is rem700 short. Xm is their extended length, proprietary to Defiance specs. Xm+ is the same as a zermatt, lone peak, stiller medium lengths, this is the most popular industry standard of medium length actions.
