Ok, so not the 8 inches penetration before upset at that closer range? And forgive me for posting here in 6um thread but I AM talking at 6mm creedmoor velocities.

No. Above 2,500’ish FPS impact, seems to be a 3-4” neck length and then pretty solid fragmentation.

They didn't true up at 1000-1200y till I dropped g7 to 0.287, just a prs rifle. They shot really well in 6gt at 2830 and 2920 45-65k off. I loaded a bunch at 50k off. 7.5tw 6gt
Kestrel has the g7 at .280.

I have never used these bullets, but Form has mentioned terminal performance is the same as the 108.

Nice to see they are selling the 109s in 500 count orders now vs just 2500. Just hard to buy them after a guy just got a bunch of the 106 TAPs for 40% of the price. If they shoot tighter and have a lower min velocity threshold I could see the draw vs the TAPs though. For 6 PRC - 6 UM the TAPs seem enticing just from a high velocity impact and odds of jacket failure standpoint.

710 yard shot. Hit the bull about as perfect as you possibly can in the pocket. He took one step backwards then one step forward, then he was down and dead. I watched the whole process in the scope. I tried to shoot the hell out of him like Form but he didnt give me the chance:)

I still suck at taking after action pics especially when you have a nine mile pack out. It pinholes in and the exit pic doesn’t do it justice but it had massive damage on exit.

I think until there is good brass available for the western, the saum 6.5/7 PRC are all better to build a 6mm on.
Yeah, i wouldn't build one either until there is good brass. It is good to hear the ADG isn't long for launching their version and it is also nice to hear low rumblings that Lapua will follow suit.

I just thought that since this cartridge is a very nice platform that some tinkerer out there may have given it a shot.
