Thank you for this. How many grains of varget? I haven’t tried it yet as it didn’t have the speed max the other powders did in the loading manual. I’m on a 1:8 twist PBB in a tikka action 18”.

I’m at 39 gr of Varget (which is close to max if I recall correctly). Shoots very well.

you are right at max, but pushing quite a bit faster than the book velocity out of a 24" barrel. Thats good to see.

At that speed, it’s pretty much point and shoot to 300 yards on coyotes (1.3 minutes of drop at 300 from 100 yard zero). Makes it nice for thermal hunting!
