What bullet and impact velocity?

75 gr ELDM, about 3090 per Revic app at a whole 45 yards. Had a pencil hole that poured blood out when picked up and his neck/spine was 100% completely severed but no exit at all. Every bit of that bullet hit vertebrae. Didn’t take pics but a surprising amount of the neck meat was just fine.

Maybe video will work:

Yeah man those shots can be devastating depending on angle. My wife shot a doe this year, she was looking at us with nose up sniffing us. The 80 ELDX went it and didn’t exit either. Doe acted like she was struck by lighting.

I’ve seen a bunch that shoot them well. Haven’t tried them in mine.
How much is to be gained with the 88 elds vs the 77 tmk out of a 22-250 inside of 400 yards? I’m close to pulling the trigger on a 22-250 that I will probably convert to a gt when barrel is done but I’ll be a little disappointed if it wont shoot the 88’s as I already have a RSS shooting the 77tmks

I’ve never been a fan of a side profile neck shot but now in two weeks I’ve taken two mature whitetail bucks with throat shots with them facing me at short range and it’s almost quicker than lightning. High shoulder has been on my mind with this 22 Creed as I learn it and work on trusting it but just so happens I was given two picturesque throat shots and I’m not sure why I’d venture from it. Not much room for error but with one of these super low recoil laser beams at short distance why not. Definitely one of the most fun rifles I’ve ever had. Bullet goes where you want it to and you get to see it go there. I’m fully on the 22 bandwagon.

Any concerns shooting the 80 ELDm vs 80 ELDx on big game? I'm planning on using my 22-250AI that shoots the 80 ELDm @3200 fps this spring for black bear. From past experience shots will be 250-600.
We shot 3 animals with the 80 eldm out of a 22GT. Explanations below.

First animal with them hit far back, 300 yards ~2750 impact velocity, stumbled about 10 yards and laid down, next shot from about 250 impact velocity of ~2820 buck was bedded quartered to pretty hard, hit shoulder and didn’t move. But 15-20 minutes later needed another shot as he was still alive but immobilized.

Second one was my wife’s deer at 215 yards, impact velocity of ~2880 hit too far fwd at tip of shoulder while buck was bedded slightly quartered away, second shot was right behind the shoulder and buck died in less than 10 seconds. Traveled less than 15 yards after first shot.

Third was a wolf at 500 yards with an impact velocity of ~2425, hit in the shoulder on entrance side and exited just behind shoulder, didn’t move at all.

Used eldx’s on a 2 other animals mixed between the 3 above but upon shooting them more they do not shoot near as well as the eldm’s do in my rifle. Not near enough info for me to 100% draw a conclusion on the m’s so planning to use them next year again.
