Enough about gay stuff like scope height, here we go friends…

The lack of wind drift is highly noticeable on the 22 Creedmoor shooting these 80 ELDX when shooting side by side with my .223 shooting 77 TMKs. Longer range and higher wind this gun gets the call every time…

Have you shot 77tmk in the 22 creed? I’m debating if it’s worth the time to try and work up an 80eldx load in the 22 creed or just keep shooting 77tmk, which seem to be shooting awesome.

1mph of gun number might not be worth the squeeze considering 77s shoot so well.

Mine was slightly more accurate with 77 TMKs. If you are dialed in with those I wouldn’t change a thing.

Same shot but with .223 and 77 TMK's. Listen to how much louder that gong smack is with the 22 Creedmoor. Can't wait to get both of these guns suppressed!

Yeah.. but what kinda weeny only puts 37.7g of H4350 in a 22 CM case.
Weenies trying to stick to saami pressures I guess. I don't remember the numbers, but the load data Peterson put out had h4350 with pretty low max charge weights, understandably so due to the powder being pretty fast for this cartridge. When I get one, I'll still use either h4350 or sb6.5 and likely not be a weeny ;)

Granted I did this with the 88s but out of h1000 rl23 and 4350 the 4350?was the fastest in my gun I might explore the 23 load again that was when the barrel was new so it might be unfair

This latest 22cm doesn’t like the 80gr ELD-. 3 different powders and nothing great.

Todays results for 5 rounds-

Same exact load but with a 77gr TMK-

Yea true. I was kind of surprised how fast some of the other powders were compared to H4350.
H4350 is a single base powder. Those fastest powders listed are all double base. Generally you'd expect them to be a good bit faster. But you wouldn't expect to have much temp stability.

Hornady released 22 creed data on their app. Was looking at their data for the 80 grain. Interesting. H4350 appeared to be the slowest powder they tested.

Ramshot Magnum looked promising on the chart, while on the hunt for that I ran across Ramshot Grand for ~$33 (w discount) a lb on Midway. As Grand appears very close to Magnum figured it’ll be worth a try.

I've heard of other re-chambered Tikka barrels not liking any 80 ELDX hand loads as well.

Let me know if you want to try the factory Hornady Precision Hunter... I can get two boxes in the mail to you tomorrow.
