Is there an option to buy packs without a lid for a lesser price?

Pretty sure they are being sold without the lid.

Yes, both frames work with EMR II.

no, there isn't a "no lid" option.

I ended up ordering with the standard lid and added a long hunter lid separately as it was the same price as if I ordered the long hunter lid in the combo.

In Coyote Brown:
418 with standard lid.
489 with long hunter lid
71 for long hunter lid separately.

489 for EMR II with standard lid + long hunter lid.

For the same price you can get the standard lid for "free". Kinda sucks for those that already have a long hunter lid.

I tried to get several angles on the pack so you could get an idea of the size. The pack wasn't stuffed, but basically loaded with 5 days of winter gear and snow shoes.

That's what u usually run, but I'm writing a review on several sets of shoes. I'll take a photo with the ascents when I get home..... the actually fit better

Looks like a nice pack but may be bigger than what I need. The High camp might be a better fit but that front zip is nice! Any chance you will be adding the front zip to the high camp line in the future?

The extension will slide all the way into that sleeve.... I just left it out so you could see it.

Aron are those the 30 inches (up to 280 lbs)? Trying to get a idea of how deep the pockets are.

My ship date was April 17, I'm hoping it arrives sooner then that! (I ordered in highlander).
