You're exponential safer.

I'd wager that 95% of Americans born after 1960 will never have a life or death situation that isn't a product of old age.
Sarcasm pointed at his using violence in Ukraine to make whatever nonsense point it was.

I know two people who's lives were cut short by "random" gunfire. One in his teens, one in his 20s. I may be an outlier, but the attitude that gun violence is not a problem is garbage.

I'm not saying I have a solution, but calling it normal or acceptable is pretty unacceptable to me.

I think the questions went over your head.

Well, abortion is viewed as a legal right by the laws of the U.S., and most folks who say they are pro-life (despite having no problem with the 18 year old buying a high capacity semi auto designed for killing humans) would like to deny them of that legal right.
This is why people can't take people serious. You didn't address anything I just said, brought in another issue that has nothing to do with this situation to try to gain political points and once again grab the moral high ground. Pathetic.

Gun control is a myth! One more or twenty more gun laws will do nothing to stop targeted shootings. There are over 20 Million ARs in America alone.

Solutions
Harden Schools
Active shooter drills
Every school has a trained armed guard. Lots of people mocking this but do some googling It's an effective deterrent.

This still won't stop all targeted shootings but it will be more effective than another stupid gun law.

We have plenty of money to do this if it was important to our leaders.. But it's not.

Nah, gun lobby will push to arm children instead.

I’m all for responsible gun ownership, but I need license, registration and insurance to drive a Prius. I think we can do better on gun control while not infringing on 2A rights.

Extremists on both ends leave zero room for actionable compromise and reduced gun violence.

Get out of here with that crap. Your Prius isn’t a God given right nor protected by the Constitution. SMH. Man I hope you wake up.

100%. And bring back the basic family structure with parents who are actually present in their kids lives.

bans off my firearms

Which ones? Your full autos? Anti tank drones? Those backpack anti-tank drones we sent to Ukraine are pretty sweet! I can even watch them killing Russians on YouTube with them. Where’s yours?

I think every freedom loving gun owner should AT LEAST have one full auto M-16, one shoulder mounted anti tank, a drone or two, and a Ruger 10/22

(Someone has to stir the pot)

Well it sure wasn't the status quo that enabled my grandparents to eat at any restaurant they wanted.
“The Progressives rejected these claims as naive and unhistorical. In their view, human beings are not born free. John Dewey, the most thoughtful of the Progressives, wrote that freedom is not "something that individuals have as a ready-made possession." It is "something to be achieved." In this view, freedom is not a gift of God or nature. It is a product of human making, a gift of the state. Man is a product of his own history, through which he collectively creates himself. He is a social construct. Since human beings are not naturally free, there can be no natural rights or natural law. Therefore, Dewey also writes, "Natural rights and natural liberties exist only in the kingdom of mythological social zoology."”

Progressivism is at its root, Marxist in nature.

“…a gift of the state.”
