Is tha receiver rated as much as a stand alone receiver?

I don't see how, as it has 4 less frame bolts as my old receiver did. But I don't really know, or care, as it will pull whatever I need to yank around.

I’m not saying you “cared” or implied you made a mistake. I was sincerely curious if the built the bumper to stock specs as id consider an after market bumper w receiver if it was. I pull a 30’ camper now but offloading it for a dump trailer and equipment trailer for a tractor.

just went and looked. rated at 10,000 pounds.

bent some saddles, welded them to the steps and had them re-powdercoated. Drilled, tapped and bolted them up. It saved having to have the whole bumper re-coated if I welded them direct.....

Still no word on the shell being shipped. But I did get my roof rack parts delivered today. Just like everything else for this build, it was missing two endcaps. Seems nobody can count to four anymore. Well, I do have everything for it, interior lights and electrical, grab handles and the rack. All I need now is for the little chinamens to get the fricking thing done, and put on the slow boat.....

Nothing left to do to the truck, except the shell and waiting goodies. oh well, it is, what it is.....

Generic crossbars and mounts, Vantech side rails. I went this route as its way cheaper than the whole Vantech set up, and the Flight Deck rail from the shell outfit isn't compatible with the gen 2 shell. I got 2 of these just to get the 8 bars. The 8 bar rack from nghtowl is $550.

Nice. I want a cap when I get a new truck and I really want a long bed aluminum one like yours but I don’t have enough money to gamble at the casino let alone on if and or when I’ll get the cap I paid for hahaha.
