I'll be happier if I get to use my pronghorn tag and when January rolls around but I was pretty disappointed in being a new resident that I still drew third choice for deer and no elk or barbary. I guess the "lemonade" is I might try for bear for the first time.

Might try to get used to it I've gone 12 years with ZERO tags as a resident.

Yep, I went 14 years without an elk tag and only drew 3 deer tags in about 10 years. Sometimes it’ll about depress a man.

Its a great tag to get into elk hunting. You should be knee deep in elk every day.

Unit 34 is pretty much entirely road huntable, in fact is very difficult to get more than a mile away from a road.
There's some decent hilly terrain but if you take it easy between now and then you should be good to go!

I went all red for six years as a resident. I finally drew two great tags last year, and this year I drew four.
Pronghorn
Elk
BH Ewe
Mule deer
All added up it’s about 30 days of field time inside of 60 days. It’s gonna be crazy.
