I would shoot some blood sport arrows seen them super cheap on there website the other day. Like 36 for 170.00 I could fling with disregard at that price
i shoot the tac in utah at the bird and PC. typically i bring my quiver of 5 and 3 extras just in case. i had a bad day and lost 4 arrows but typically it's just one or two. i do however get to see the cleanup from the bird TAC and you are correct to worry about your expensive arrows. i am lucky enough to have several arrows that shoot well out of my bows without having to move the rest. the least expensive are gold tip hunters (scheels brand). a little bit of work and you can have a dual drop chart for 3d season when your are trying to stretch your abilities.
