When you add it to your cart it says we do not have this quantity. 1 will be backorder.

What are the thoughts on the 3-9 SWFA vs NF 3-10 SHV? Note - I already have the latter (brand new) and just got Aadland covers for it yesterday, so it's highly unlikely that I change my setup/mind. Looking only for answers to validate me.

I wonder if they actually do have some in stock but have not adjusted the second part of the website? Who knows... But let's hope they fill all backorders with this last shipment! I tried to email to ask and the email doesn't exist anymore apparently.

So I just got off the phone with Silvia in SWFA sales.
In reference to the 3-9 HD
She said the website is being glitchy. Pulled up current inventory while I was on the phone.
100 in stock.
Well 99 after my order at 0937 Pacific time.

I just ordered a 3-9 and it appears to have gone through. Last night I got the page that said wasn’t enough to fill order.

I have all three of my back ordered 3-9HD being sent as well as my warranty 5-20HD.

BTW, that warranty on 5-20 wasn't a mechanical issue, I had some occlusion pop up on the glass. Replaced no questions asked.

I really like my 5-20s that and the 6x are the only ones I think they nailed the reticle sizing on.
I snagged a 3-9 just because I want to save some weight. But the 5-20 reticle size is the best I've found for a ffp scope yet.

If only zero stops. Zero stops 😆

I emailed swfa to inquire about my 4 backordered 3-9's. Considering that 2 of them were ordered almost a year ago, seems only fair that I should at least get 1 or 2 out of this shipment. It'd be cool if they gave them to me at the current sale price too but I'm not expecting it.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I called this morning and was told the same thing. Also ordered one just to satisfy my curiosity.

Seriously? This thread, combined with another about rifle advice, now has me thinking that in addition to the 6X I purchased on backorder last night (for a rifle that doesn't exist yet), I might want to ALSO order a 3-9. Then I can use the 3-9 for that same to-be-purchased rifle and move the 6x to an AR, which is currently sporting a (gasp!) Leupold....VX-3 - the first scope I ever purchased (aside from for an old air rifle). Or I can just move scopes around as things progress. Someone talk me out of this purchase....

EDIT - I have no self-control. I purchased the 3-9 (online so we will see if the glitch is fixed and the same results as a call). Now I have scopes coming out of my arse.

I spoke with them just now. They said there are “plenty” of the 3-9’s in stock. The 6X will be available in “a handful of weeks”.

Why don’t you just order 4 more while they’re showing in stock at the sale price and then CALL and cancel your previous orders? Seems like a far more logical than beating around the bush and sending emails back and forth about your previous order that possibly fell through the cracks.

Might as well load up because it might be another 1-2 years before they get a shipment in.
