I know it's too much to ask, but a reliable and affordable scope is all I ask for. Theres reliable scopes out there already past the $1200 price point.

Gimme that sweet cheap reliability back and I'll be a happy camper.

An updated 3-9 with features described in the thread by Ryan, for under $1k would work for me.

I know someone who's been waiting a LOOOOOONG time for a warranty replacement scope. He'll never buy anything from them again.

I'd buy a 6x mil if it was updated with an illuminated reticle though.
A person really couldn’t have come up with a better approach to offend your loyal customer base if they tried. I have to admit that I’d probably buy 2-3 6x MQ scopes if they were still available because the price is low and the probability of reliability is high. But I would also not be as likely to dive in blindly on newer, more expensive models.

Thats why I'm keeping my hopes up that we don't get yet another Christmas tree illuminated reticle 5-35x72 scope with a 35mm tube and ultra phosphated zinc glass for $2k at the expense of the 6x and 3-15 SS

SWFA had a very unique position in the market- plain Jane scope with the necessities that worked for a really good price relative to the competition. I hope they maintain that market slot.

I'm doubtful they are smart enough to do that. If they were smart, they would have kept stocking what sells while designing new things. As it stands, I view my SWFA as a product without support and do not trust support will be available on future products.

We can hope though.
