SWFA warranty service 2025

What should I expect from SWFA in terms of warranty for my 6x42? It’s broken, and I need to send it in. I’ve read things about people waiting for years for warranty replacements, since it kind of sounds like they don’t repair them.

If anyone has had dealings with them lately, how has it been? Do I need to buy a new scope if I want to use my rifle at all for the rest of 2025?

Folks that needed replacements before and there was no stock needed to wait that long time, they eventually replaced them though everyone reported and/or a store credit. No one knows when they'll have more 6x42, you could ask them for a deal on a 3-9x42 if that is an acceptable alternative to you. Otherwise yeah you should probably get something else while waiting since they don't have inventory of the 6x42 currently.

Thanks. Now I need to think of what could be an acceptable temporary replacement for an SWFA 6x in that price range. Not sure it exists.

Years ago I had a 6x take a dump (covid era production). The 6x's were out of stock. They gave me credit and a discounted price on a 3-9.
