SWFA 3-15 bent eyepiece

Took a small tumble while hunting, didn't drop the rifle too far onto a snow covered log. Later tried to adjust the magnification from 3x and found that it was bound up/gritty around 4x. Looks like I bent the eyepiece down toward the rifle. Think it can be saved by pounding it back in the correct direction, or is it too far gone that I should just contact SWFA?
