Swarovski ATM vs ATS

Just like the title says what's the difference I haven't been able to figure it out and I've been searching I was hoping someone could explain if someone knows

The ATM frame is made of magnesium while the ATS is made of Aluminum. Everything else is identical.

What are the pro's/con's?

Magnesium is lighter, aluminum is cheaper.

The started with aluminum, moved to magnesium, and are now back to aluminum, since the ATS series is now the entry level spotter from Swarovski.

Oh yeah, and in a survival situation, you could dig out some of that magnesium to use as firestarter.
