Suppressor wait times

Ordered a DD Enticer S stainless steel for my 6.5 Creed from Capitol Armory on March 12 and it arrived to me foot on April 2nd. I was on top of the fingerprints and paperwork and let little time elapse on my end. This was my first one. Nothing but positive reviews for Capitol Armory.

I transferred one in my name to my trust (with the rest of my suppressors) and it took three months using paper applications. Nothing electronic. Based on all my previous experiences that was much faster than expected.

I see a lot of approvals that are less than a week. Are there any folks out there going longer that we aren't hearing from? I'm 31 days and waiting on an individual Eform 4. I never get hung up when buying firearms. Just curious.

I wish I had read this before going with Silencer Central. Put a sign on my back KICK ME. I ordered Feb 26th, today April 4th it just got submitted to the ATF. SC says 27.6 days for approval from the ATF for a trust. Then more waiting to ship.

So if I am lucky 3 months???????

I like hearing this. Just purchased an Enticer l-ti from capitol armory on Wednesday, mailed my fingerprints same day.

What happened after approval in terms of it arriving at your door? Events, comms, timeline.

I bought a Scythe from Silencer Central on Dec 6. Received the can on Mar 6.
Messed up the fingerprints after the cards arrived and had to order new ones so that put a 2 week delay in the process.
ATF approval took 27days as an individual.
Total time 3 months and less than a month waiting for ATF.
Yay Silencer Central you're reaaaaal efficient.

I do really like the Scythe Ti though.

I'm at 3.5 months on my form 4 submitted through Silencer Shop. Hope my form didn't fall through the cracks ..

Comms are fantastic, they send emails at every step with detailed instructions. I watched their YouTube video before I started the process so I knew what was to do. Like others, I was on top of everything they needed. I had my fingerprint file ready to go before I ordered. I did have to resend my photo, but did it the same day they let me know mine was not usable.

The only thing that was just a little tricky was timing the big brown truck so I would be home to sign for it. I got a shipping notification and tracking number when it left Texas, but the tracking number didn't go active until it was transferred from the dealer in my state to UPS. I am close to that dealer so I only had a day notice.

I am extremely pleased with the whole process, will be ordering another one from them this fall.

If you find a store locally that knows what they're doing, it makes all the difference, in my experience.

Just started buying this year and all my approvals were sub 36 hrs. May have just gotten lucky. But, the store has it down to a science and probably averages 50-100cans/week.

They will communicate via email so keep a close eye. Stay on top of things on your end and just follow the instructions.

I ordered an AB Raptor from Silencer Shop 3/18, submitted my form 4 with my local shop 4/1 at 5pm, got the approved stamp form the ATF 4/2 at noon.
