Suppressor wait times

Can anyone tell me how long the "Preparing for E-Form's" step typically takes through Silencer Shop? It has been on that step since last Thursday. I tried calling them today to ask about it and gave up after about 30 minutes on hold. It just seems like that should be a fairly quick step?
In my experience this is the step that is most variable. It seems they include the form 3 and then shipping under this section. So I’ve had it as fast as a week up to 2 weeks (I live in middle of nowhere Wyoming so shipping isn’t exactly fast). Once the dealer has it, they change it to ready to file.

Ok, good info! The dealer had to order it and they have had it for about 2 weeks now. I went to check it out when they got it in and am pretty stoked! Dead Air Nomad TI XC in FDE. Just want to make sure I am doing all of my steps as quick as possible but it seems it’s out of my hands for the moment. I Am hoping to have it for a spring bear hunt coming up.

This is confusing to me, the way I understood it the distributor can't ship to a dealer until Form 3 clears, at which point you would be ready to certify and submit Form 4.

That was kind of my thought as well. I'm going to call my dealer today and see what's up. I did get an email this morning saying that it was ready to certify so hopefully smooth sailing from here on out.

My cousin bought a suppressor at his local gun shop on Tuesday, it was approved Wednesday and he picked it up on Thursday

Sico Scythe. Certified Saturday, approved Tuesday.

Certifying is the longest part of the process now going through Silencershop. Awesome

Submitted a polonium on 2-28 and cat Noah on 3-5. Both approved last night 3-17 on a trust.

Still not sure what the delay was leading up to certify but submitted 3/12 and approved today, 3/18. Not too bad! Got home and started shooting and I’m pretty impressed so far! DA Nomad TI XC

Latest one was in a trust. This process has improved tremendously from when they first rolled out e-forms.
submitted 3/28
Approved 4/1IMG_8840.jpeg

I ordered an AB A10 from silencer shop while it was on backorder. This was my first suppressor, and the process seemed intimidating before I started. I was surprised how easy and fast it all turned out to be. Despite being on backorder, I had it in hand in less than a month.

Another example.

Last June I certified one and it took a couple months or so including having a reps office send an inquiry.

I certified one last Thursday and picked it up yesterday.

Most recent suppressor was a Dead Air Mask bought through Capitol Armory, this was my first time using them.

I purchased on 2/20, E-filed on 2/25 using a trust with 2 RP's, F4 was approved on 3/6, CLEO notification sent on 3/7, shipped on 3/28, delivered to the house on 3/31. Overall not a bad experience with them.

The 2 weeks from approval to shipping was a bit annoying, even though I knew that would be the case due to the non face to face transfer, and realistically that is only a couple days more than my last silencer shop transfer with the only difference being that was on the front end and this was on the back end

Anyone ever thought that they decided to become way more efficient specifically because they're making a killing on stamps? 🤔

Nope, they started becoming more efficient because congress had given them tens of millions of dollars to get the system up and running but they didn’t and bunch of congress people were getting tired of the emails and phone calls about stamps not being approved. That led to them actually working towards identifying the issues and streamlining the process.
