How’s it work if you buy something that is back ordered form SS?

I’m assuming you need to wait til it’s in stock and a serial # is known before any of the approvals can start?

About 45 days ago, I had 4 cans approved in 3 days time. The oldest of the batch was near 120 days, youngest was 3 days. Today I put a Dead Air nomad LTI XC on papers. Will see how long this one takes!

Purchased an Omega 300 on 9/24/24. Paid fee and filed online, same date. Still waiting, been 6 weeks. Not sure why the delay. Own another suppressor, no legal issues. Tick tock, tick tock......

Purchased a Dead Air Mask through Capital Armory on 8 Oct, had to send fingerprints and such, so certified on the evening of 1 Nov as a traditional trust. Got the approval email this morning (9 Oct). So 7 days on a trust.

Just saw their Instagram post about e-form trusts now being being processed as quickly as individual applications, that’s good news. Might have to buy another suppressor if they ever get more back in stock…

I just back ordered for the third time from them. I have only had to wait a week, maybe two on the previous two cans. I could be wrong, but the BO items must be close to arriving where as out of stock means they have no ETA.

Since the approval times have sped up, the cans I want, are out of stock, so I place the BO to get in que before they sell out again.

I had two come back within a week in March of this year submitted via the Silencer Shop kiosk. I'm also 4 months in on a paper form and ink fingerprint cards submission. I'm just assuming that e-file is the only way to take advantage of these low wait times.

Because the ATF going to ATF, just got my 6.5 hydrogen L approved - submitted Oct 8th, so 35 days on a single shot trust. But, the can I was really hoping to have by now, the 8.6 Hydrogen for my .350 is at 97 days, and counting. Also single shot trust. Hopefully, this approval will kick the other one free....

I'd be surprised if there was anywhere near that profit margin on a nice can. Besides, a change in laws would drive demand up, no reason for a price drop.

Got an NFA error email for wording on my trust about beneficiaries 11/26 and had 72 hours to correct. I’m out of town for the holiday so no way that’s going to happen so i guess I’ll wait for the denial and resubmit.
