This may have been covered here, if so, you can point me to it. I should soon have cash in hand for a suppressor. My thought was to get a DD Enticer S-Ti. Seems they are out of stock pretty much everywhere. I can wait until more come, but I wanted to ask if there is another can I should consider that is in the same weight and price range? This will be my first suppressor. It’s primarily going on an 18” 6 PRC Tikka build for western hunting.

If your not going to use it on anything bigger than 6mm I’d look at the dd wolf hunter.

I really like my diligent defense LTI. I think it’s a great can. Another one you could look at is the otter creek labs hydrogen series.

A lot of the good ones are sold out right now. At the DSC show here in ATL, I stopped by the Silencer Shop booth to ask specifically about the OCL Hydrogen K 6.5 which has been “Out of Stock” for quite some time. I ordered one there. You can call them directly and get on a wait list for a specific suppressor.

I have an DD Enticer STi and a Resilient Jolene S and both are pretty comparable. The Jolene S is worth a look too if you can find one. The DD Wolfhunter would probably be a good one but all DD suppressors are 20 weeks from ordering to fulfilling.

I was also going to ask about the OCL Hydrogen K. Either 6.5 or 30 cal

If you can spend the extra money, the new Dead air Nomad ti-xc is worth a look. I've been shooting it a lot lately and it's becoming one of my go-to cans. I prefer it over the Scythes and STI. When I reach for a lightweight can it's either the nomad xc or the enticer Lti.

Plus they are a little easier to get

Scythe ti is pretty impressive for size and weight and there’s some places with them in stock over here in Tulsa if you can’t find one over there.

What makes the nomad your preferred can over the scythe? No experience with the nomad ti but I do like the standard nomad

I have a number of OCL hydrogens, and they have been great so far. If you can find one of the 6.5 S, I think that is the way to go.

If it's for a 6mm, the wolfhunter would be great. It's probably my favorite can at the moment and I have 7.

If you want a 30cal, you're on the right track for the DD STi or LTi. They make great cans. The scythe is a pretty good one. I'm interested in the ti-xc but havent shot it. Not sure it offers much benefit over what I have.

Otter Creek is another company that makes great stuff and I wouldn't hesitate to get something of theirs.

It's worth it to wait for what you want. You're basically stuck with it for life.

Tone and sound suppression is better. It's 3d printed so the baffle geometry is improved over a traditional welded can.

Gotcha. Are you saying don’t go with the Hydrogen series at all, or just not the K?

Just not the K. I like my hydrogen a lot. Also have 2 dd cans 2 Jolene’s a scythe and a nomad ti xc in jail. For the money the dd cans are hard to beat. If you look around enough i bet you can find one in stock.

A lot of people really like the Ab raptor 8 and. 10 as well. I’d throw that in there too but your getting into nomad xc prices there.

Thanks! The Wolfhunter is not rated for an 18” PRC, so I’m gonna skip that one for sure.
