Haha, yeah I almost put a preemptive response to this in my last post. Seattle is a very good defense, they just have a different overall style than the Bronco's and Wade Phillips. They tried to run a Seattle style offense at the beginning of the Stealers game and it just didn't work for them; they did respectable but the Bronco's style is to just come after you full bore and if they give up a play, well that happens, but you're probably going to take a good shot in the process. The Seattle defense is more centered around producing turnovers and defensive scores, which they did in the last game against Car. So, while I agree they are both very good I don't think they can be compared. Brady was hit 20 times out of 61 passing plays and pressured on 45 (73%); that will frustrate any QB.
Seattle is only better by a 2 yard per game average against the rush in the regular season. I agree that Cam will probably scramble for a couple big plays and it is hard to stop Car in the redzone because of the threat of the run. You also have to remember that Denver runs a 3-4 defense, which is inherently worse against the run, yet they were still #3 against the run this year. Looking forward to a good game as well and hope we don't have a repeat of 2 years ago; that was bad for all football fans. Just hoping I never have to see Cam wearing those stupid pants again.
