I am a nearly retired guy from Wisconsin. 30 years ago my ex-father-in-law gave me crap about not having any guns so I bought a beaman r9 air rifle. From there I began collecting various rim fires and eventually moved on to centerfires both in pistols and rifles. I bowl haunted as a kid until I was halfway through college and needed to sell my stuff for money. Other than that the closest I come to hunting is killing all the vermin that are being destructive in my yard. This includes burrowing woodchucks, skunks who tear up the yard looking for grubs, Chipmunks moles voles gophers I am less than a year from retirement and plan on building a house on 40 acres of hardwoods up in Northern wisconsin. I have purchased a small rifle for whitetail deer hunting. I have spent a lot of time shooting at ranges and I'm looking forward to retiring into more of a hunting mode.
