Context: This is a gear and equipment-heavy forum that members come to seek information, exchange experiences and ideas, argue with their peers, and generally look to fill gaps or upgrade their kit. Several equipment sponsors support this website and engage directly with members through posts, personal communication, product updates, member discounts, etc. The number of new products that forum members are getting access to or are being brought to market has increased in the last few years and is (likely) only going to accelerate.
Issue: Missing a great opportunity sucks, and right now the early access, pre-sales, and group buys live in disparate threads spread across the forum. Between official sponsors, members active in the industry, and entrepreneurial one-offs, there was probably thirty or more instances in 2025, spread across more than 8 or so sub forums (backpacks, footwear, gear, clothing, optics, firearms, long range hunting, suppressors, etc).
Recommendation: Give us a consolidated landing pad to track all of the current and upcoming releases, pre-sales, group buys, discounts, and a single place for sponsors, manufacturers, and entrepreneurial members to post their official announcements. A member should be able to subscribe and receive notifications every time a new announcement is posted and never miss an opportunity to support the companies and individuals that support them.
