Hope some of you that has experience from these packs would chime in.
Had decided on a new Unaweep 4800 2.0, as it is lightweight and has an upgraded hip-belt.
Then a Kenai 5400 shoes up second-hand. It is quite expensive to get them shipped to Norway, as we add a 25% sales tax plus customs fee... so would like to make the better choice first rather than later.
The old one has the older model hip-belt My main question is, is the new one better?
I have heard of slippage, i e tries to slide down? Different textile towards the body on the new one?
Is slippage related to weight?
Which of them would comfortably carry the most weight?
The old one has a zipper and load shelf. I was thinking of ordering with a zipper on the new one. Are the load shelf solutions different on the two models?
Can they both shed the package and just be used with the shelf and frame?
The new one is obviously lighter, which is a big plus. It is big enough for my use. New is new...
