I’m getting a new Tikka T3X in .270 and I want a set and forget scope that won’t give me a hard time. Eye relief matters to me since I have bad vision.
Had one and I felt the eye relief was right and the black circle around the reticle made it a little more difficult to look throughTrijicon Huron, the eye relief isn't as bad as the advertised number makes it seem.
My 300 prc hasn't killed a 56mm Fullfield IV yet. What about the Fullfield IV 2.5-10x 42mm? Anyone know anything about it?
Are these as durable and clear as the FFIV?Take a look at the Sightron S1 Series Scopes

Yes I do. I have one on my Tikka T3X 30-06. It’s perfect. What about the Fullfield IV 2.5-10x 42mm? Anyone know anything about it?
That’s the same setup I’m thinking about running but in .270! Nice rifle manYes I do. I have one in Tikka T3X 30-06. It’s perfect.
Thanks. Just a simple rifle hunting rifle with a Burris scope, DNZ game reaper rings and a limbsaver recoil pad. That’s the same setup I’m thinking about running but in .270! Nice rifle man
I ran a couple for a bit. The perfect physical size for a scope, IMO. What killed it for me was the way that the power selector is "knurled". Tons of traction for powering up, but there's nothing for turning it back down. It matters to me as stiff as Burris power change rings tend to be. If they offered the regular plex with illumination I'd be very tempted to get back to them. The sale that Camera land was/is running on the Sightron S1 is probably the best bang for the buck on a scope available right now. It doesn't get much better for a basic hunting scope. What about the Fullfield IV 2.5-10x 42mm? Anyone know anything about it?
“Right” or “tight”? Assuming you meant “tight”?Had one and I felt the eye relief was right and the black circle around the reticle made it a little more difficult to look through
