You can request the hardcopy catalog now with more info and prices. I got it within 24 hours.

Looks like some good additions. I would love to see a de-havilland lite jacket (like a wind cheater) and camo, but as stated above, they articulate why they don’t do camo. Ah well.

It does say expect more to come. Im excited to see their glove layering system and would like to see some technical beanie type offerings. Cirque Lite and Grumman Lite are both pretty niche offerings and not something I would want.

Am I missing something on the Grumman lite jackets? Has the same amount of fill as the Grumman and weighs 11oz versus 11.8oz on the Grumman.

It's about 60% as much down, they said 3.2 oz. It's same cut, but a bit slimmer on outer to account for less down Kurt said, and more baffles to keep the smaller amount of fill parked where it needs to be. The weight is surprisingly close still. Since it isn't a ton lighter, the use case would be a bit smaller packability for early season kit. Justifying it vs grumman on weight alone is tough (to me).
Is it because the Lite has a different outer shell? It adds "weather-resistant" to its description.
Same Pertex outer shell on both the grumman and cirque lites they said.

Oh ok thanks for the info. I do like the two color offerings much more that the bright Grumman.

Not gonna lie, i really really like my helio set, and the zip off helio bottoms may make their way to my cart.

Curious about the cirque vest and or cirque lite. Already have the ambient hoody and jacket and love those. Not sure i need another active mid/outer.

Dang it, why do these companies gotta make nee stuff?

I'm assuming the added stitching for the extra baffles accounts for a lot of the extra weight, but the Grumman lite appears to be better suited as a midlayer than the Grumman with a leaner design overall. Weight-wise it was hard to beat the Grumman anyways, so I am impressed with any jacket that comes in lighter. I am going to add a Grumman Lite to my collection just because I can likely get more wear out of it over the course of the year as a midlayer in the winter, outer layer in spring and fall. The original Grumman is just too hot to wear in the spring and fall where I'm at.

For the folks that layer a Grumman over a Zenith Fleece. Are your two pieces the same size or is your Grumman sized one size up to fit/function and move while layers with a heavy mid below it?

Thats a good point. Curious, do you run a Cirque at all?
