Anybody know what new things they’re releasing this year? They just dropped the new pants but I am waiting to order anything to see what else they have coming. I signed up for the catalog but was curious if anybody knew. Cheers fellas

There was lightweight down jacket in their story the other day and a thread here about a Cirque Light jacket. I am hoping for gloves this year!

Kurt mentioned gloves in the Mindful Hunter podcast a few weeks back.

He also said long range pack that sounded like a super sized terminus, and a 3-5 day pack with “more organization.”

Usually it’s after the first of the year/January.

New pants seem awesome. Just got them in the mail so I haven’t worn them out yet but seem like a great summer pant

I ordered a set of the new pants. If they’re too thin I might send them back and try the Dehavilland lites instead. I have a couple of pairs of Dehavillands and they’re pretty dang thick, more of a late season pant imo

Let us know how you like them. I want a new pair of pants and I’m deciding between these and the pa18 from Barney’s.

I bet gloves and technical beanies. Camo anyone ?

Kurt (founder) talked about it on a podcast I highly doubt they ever would. They kinda have found their niche in the market so I think they’ll stay the course in what they’ve done so far.

I have both the DH and the DH lites and prefer the lites. I was surprised to see they released another pair of early season pants with how great the lites are. I’m also a little weary with having a zipper on the inside of the thigh, but we’ll see how people like that feature.

i ordered some lites and thought that they were pretty similar to the regular DH's. I never hiked in them but for a warm weather pant for where i hunt they seemed too heavy for me. It'll be hard for me to sway away from my ascent pants for warm weather hunts.

I’m with you on this one. I really prefer the lites. But they are a bit heavy in comparison to many other early summer ish pants. I’ll be curious if the zipper there bothers me as well.

Agreed, I prefer the dlites over the regular Dehavilland pants. The dlites do everything the Dehavilland do but are lighter and breathe better.

They definitely aren’t super light compared to others, but those long side leg zips are hard to beat. The only thing I didn’t like about the zips is I found myself dealing with more ticks on my legs. I learned quick to zip them up going through anything thick or taller grasses.

I wore the regular DHs in November during late deer season in snow and about 20 degree weather. With the thicker material and the DWR treatment, they performed really well. I wore the lites in about 80 degree weather down to just above freezing temps with a thin base layer underneath and they performed extremely well. I’m definitely impressed with both, but overall prefer the lites.
