I'm in for either a VG pattern or RS Lite (preferred) with the requirements listed below. Since I'd be moving a Montana to it I'd prefer blind mag. The following would need to be part of the stock's design for me to jump on it.
1. Stock width/depth in the action/chamber area should be as narrow as the factory Montana stock. I love a slim action area when carrying. Almost everything I hunt is mountains and slimmer is just more comfortable when carried in one hand. The Howa mini VG is noticeably thicker than the Howa mini sporter...so I end up carrying the sporter more than the VG.
2. Weight needs to be no more than the factory Montana stock, lighter is better.
3. The comb needs to be opened enough on the front end to allow the area where the muscle below the thumb on the palm side meets the wrist to be clear of contact. The RS does this but the Howa mini VG is to tight for me. It's shootable, but open there would be better.
4. Short trigger reach
