Tiny little instructions that say nothing about location of charge port.

Nothing online. Customer Service closed.

This next part was my fault as I'd opened both solar panel and the battery pack at the same time I got the cords mixup and I ended up plugging the wrong cord into the battery terminals and 110v. That wouldn't have happen if I had clear instructions

That little cord heated up so fast. I got it unplugged. I'll never know if it damage the battery or not. This is my first gripe with the whole thing. If they can't include clear instructions there's going to be problems. And how often is Customer Service really going to be open on a hunters schedule?

So I got it charging now. Has to charge 20 hours it's first time.

Solar panel instructions are not any better. In fact they're nonexistent. There's this mysterious little bracket that I have no idea how to hook up. I'm sure I'll get it figured out but an instruction manual would make me a happy customer.

Here's the charging port. Woulda been nice to have this in the instructions!

But the battery life is impressive. The camera has taken just over 500 pictures to date.

G34 is on the mountain now. This is Stealth's least expense scouting cam. No frills. Less than $100 if purchased in Black Ovis volume discount program.

I set it as a trail cam (not on water) in some aspen country where I've seen a few big bucks. It's about a mile from the truck. Glassed my way in and found a couple of average bucks.

With the 12v battery and solar panel, I'm set for months if needed but as a non wireless cam, obviously I'll have to check it. G34 doesn't have an LCD so I ordered the iPhone SD card reader from Black Ovis.

I'll post on that in a few weeks after I've used it with the G34.

Here's the set up I use on trails where I don't expect the buck to stop: Custom, 5 sec delay between bursts, 5 photo burst and pointing cam down the trail, not across it. I expect it to shoot a lot of photos but I've learned on trails to do just that. Possible that bucks might only walk by once. I went with 6MP in case I don't check it for a while.

Always take the instructions on your first few set ups.

Running it in test mode, I found I had to set it Extended distance to to get it to activate where I think the bucks will come from. Always test your cams before leaving them. Stealth makes the test light easy to see in bright light. I've had cams with dim test lights that are tough to see

With the 12v system, it looks like a garage sale hanging in a tree but was pretty easy to set up.

I had to trim the tree with my machete so the panel could see sun a few hours a day. Panels facing south, cams facing north

I cleaned the trail up to direct "traffic" as best as I can.

I know the bucks will only use this trail at prime hours and night, so I set Activity from 8:00 PM to 9:30 AM

I'll report back on the G34 in a few weeks.

Heat wave is setting in in the West and Cam activity has really picked up. Went from 3-9 photos per day when highs were in the 80s, lows in 40's to 40-60 since we hit the 90s/50s. Not much for deer yet but 'yotes, badger, and birds. Expecting to see a good buck any day now. Loving the live updates. When I get this message on my phone, I drop everything I'm doing. If I'm driving, I pull over!

It works great.
Unlike the 12V battery/solar panel, it came with clear instructions.

1) downloaded the app
2) inserted the Reader (had to use the included extension cord to get past my Otter Box)
3) Inserted a SD card from 2015 I hadn't erased (my Stealth SD card is still on the mountain)
4) clicked on right button to access card

Then clicked on the pics I wanted to view

Saved them to my phone's camera roll (makes for easier viewing) and Shazam, some photos of bucks coming to water that I'd forgot I had.

That last buck was a real up'n comer but I never saw him in 2016. Maybe this year?

Vanish, good observation but it's because I have the upload set to low resolution. What that does is save data and battery life. But the normal resolution photo, eight megapixel, will be stored on the SD card. So when I recover the card I'll have better resolution.

I'm guessing Ryan's bear photo was straight from the SD card.

Also I just remembered that there is a glitch in the SC app that won't let you save the photo to your phone's camera roll so all the photos I've posted have been screen shots. Seems like that reduces resolution.

Haven't had any deer on the Stealth Cam in a week. you can see from the photos that the cattle this spring really stomped it out plus the spring is bigger than ever due to the high water table this year so it's spread out over a 50 yard semicircle that the cam can't take in. Might be missing some deer.

This coyote or several different ones hit it daily and always come and leave the same way. Pics show one three second burst. The trigger time is fantastic as evidenced by the first photo of the dog walking into view. Looking at previous pics, the cam hadn't tripped for over 12 hours yet it got him before he even got all the way in the view
