Dawson Precision is the source I’ve looked at. Also Gunbroker has them (of course). Anyone recommend a dealer? Pretty much settled on a C2 I think.

My EDC is a G19 in a Vedder holster. This thread has me thinking about ditching that and a 1911 safe queen for a C2……I’d love to get my hands on one to try first but you guys are convincing.

The one on the left had just over 30,000 rounds on it without ever being cleaned. It’s first malfunction was a failure to eject. The extractor hook was totally filled with carbon and brass shavings. Scraped the hook out and back to functioning.

Absolutely. The one I did/do carry doesn’t have a mag well. However, if it’s for a carry gun, the C2 is the way to go
Ive only ever ordered direct from Staccato - if you are prior mil or LEO they have a good discount you can apply for.

By the way, this thread cost me another P. Ordered this morning.
USMC-40,
Will the P you ordered be a carry weapon? I am debating it, over the C2 for EDC. Especially after looking at Formidilosus’ 50m target!

Honestly, Scheels is a pretty good source. If you are a vet, you can get at least 5% off and if you jump through some hoops with Stacatto, you can get 10% off. They're hard to get for less than that.

I carry my C2, the P is larger and prints more (magwell, etc). The P is probably the best shooting pistol I have ever shot, the C2 shoots well also, just carries easier.

Something to think about, apparently if you order direct from Staccato they advertise a wait time for manufacturing before shipping and an extra charge for expedited delivery. My friend paid for the expedited shipping and it was at his FFL in a day or so, he was a little bummed with them letting on like there was none in stock at the lesser charge, but they obviously had some ready to ship.

Without the magwell is the grip frame the same between the two? Same height grip on both.
The difference between the two then being the half inch more on the slide of the P?

I am 6’3” and don’t mind carrying the longer slide/barrel. But I don’t want a bigger/longer grip. Hope that makes sense.

This thread makes me want to liquidate all the glocks and FN, etc. and order a couple of staccatos. Especially the post about never cleaning it after 30k rounds. that is awesome.

The C2 grip is shorter in length - think G17 vs G19 although the specs are not exactly the same.

After 24 hours of deliberation I am back to thinking about the aluminum frame P model. I have big hands and am afraid the C2 will be too small. I am stuck between the two. And can’t decide if I may want a red dot in the future. So there is that Selina too. Dang it.

Anyone else around here super indecisive when it comes to these things?!

just get the P, you can always have your P fit with a C2 grip

I don’t think you will find the c2 to be too small. I love mine but sent it in for a reduction. It’s still hefty but very, very comfy. Call it a pocket sniper.

I went to my LGS yesterday to see if they had a Staccato. They didn’t but pushed me toward a Cosaint they had in stock. It seemed very similar to a C2. Anyone have feedback on them?

My xl will be here in a few weeks. I shoot competivly and have had nice glocks and currently shooting a xdm that’s completely custom. Ive never shot a gun as smooth as staccato.
But my fully custom glock and xdm dont cost 4k
