its 180'000 acre block of property owned mainly by one timber company. its basically the entire west half of the foothills of Mt. Rainier. they sell 1200 access or tress pass permits a year and F&G has a controlled spring bear hunt in its boundary. also its my back yard

Have plenty of points for the Utah draw but don't really know how its done and would hate to piss them all away. Still have time to decide until the draw

I didnt draw again.... How about you real??? Im thinking I might try an Idaho or Colorado OTC tag as I have never managed to draw a tag and want to harvest a bear with my bow really bad!!! Might just wait till next year though, Thinking I'm going to have UT elk and deer plus WY deer and antelope. Dont know if i can afford 5 this early or not.....

If you live in Utah, it's pretty easy to get into bears just north of you in Idaho. Go set up a bait real good, come back in a week and hunt. If there are bears in the area you will have them on your bait. Wait until the last week of May to set it up and then hunt in June... There are several areas that have reduced tag prices for bears, but they are further north...

Will have a tough time beating last years spring bear hunt here in Alberta. Called in a great bear to 10yrds and arrowed it from the ground. This year Im booked with Beardown Outfitters in Northern Saskachewan and then will alos have 2-4bait sites on the go at home here in Alberta and will be doing some foothills spot and stalk hunts here too.

I'm getting the itch pretty bad too... But from the way it keep snowing in my go to bear spot, it looks like I'm going to get some good use out of my snow shoes this year.
