Spring bear 2014

Who is getting ready for Bear in the spring? I may not be able to Bow hunt Elk very much in September due to a scheduled event I cannot change! So Spring bear may be my big hunt. Where do you guys hunt? I am hoping my points is enough to get me Wenaha or Snake in NE Oregon. I am considering doing Idaho as well.

Idaho has reduced nonresident bear tags for around $30. They are good in some great units too.

Myself and father in law got pulled for spring bear in the kapowsin tree farm. Anybody got some insight?

Good luck guy's. Got points for the west blue mtns in Oregon again this year. Got selkirk plans for Idaho next year with some good friends...

Heading out every week until our GOS season closes in June or I find a good sized guy. BC spot and stalk is aways a great time in spring, lots of time to scout for fall at the least.
