Agree with Memento
Denzel in Training Day is one of the best acting performances ever. He was always the good guy and knocked it out of the park as the villain.Dunno if it's been mentioned, but Denzel is fabulous in both Training Day and Man on Fire.....both are freaking awesome.
Training Day got him a well-deserved Oscar.
Man on Fire; you won’t want to take your kids to Mexico ever after watching that one.Dunno if it's been mentioned, but Denzel is fabulous in both Training Day and Man on Fire.....both are freaking awesome.
Training Day got him a well-deserved Oscar.
The original is much better if you can handle subtitlesOldboy. Josh Brolin stars in it. It's a remake of a Korean film.
This came to mind for me too. Great movie!Interstellar. Some people might think that it is overdone, but it just brings up some interesting topics outside of the Sci-Fi portion.
Inception is always a good one if you haven't seen it.
Tropic thunderI need a movie recommendation - a movie that will blow my mind as far as depth, story; one that will challenge my pre-conceived notions about something; that I will not be the same after watching it as before.
Hit me…
That's a good one. It could easily be a TV series. Not a movie, but a book you can read or listen to on Audible.
"One Second After" This will blow your mind and get your prepper juices flowing. It is fiction but based on real dangers and certain consequences that the US is 100% vulnerable to. The forward was written by Newt Gingrich and this book will scare the hell out of you and make you think about what would happen if all the sudden the lights went out and didn't come back on... No cell phones, no internet, no planes, no communication for an extended period. The rapid devolving of modern technological society.
I forgot to add maybe most importantly, no refrigeration and no water other than gravity or artesian. That's a good one. It could easily be a TV series.
Oof that's a rough one!Requiem for a Dream...enjoy!
Have you heard of Netflix? You will get all type of movies you like...
