Paul at @Happy Antelope put this together at my request. Hoplite apex with Woodland legs. Three pounds all in, 69" to top of stud at full extension.

Turns out Rob has recently been hunting with the same setup and plans to offer it as a standard config.

That looks quite nice, what is the shortest configuration? And, most importantly:

Legs at minimum length and maximum angle puts the top of the stud at 9" (8-7/8" with rubber foot covers off). Gunsmith adapter eats 0.52" of that.

Mountain legs would drop a bit of weight, but not tall enough for me (6'0") to glass comfortably when standing. Also a bit short for me to use as trekking poles.
