AICS for sure. I’d definitely buy a lite with a proper DBM, but if offered in blind mag I’d probably pass on both.

I am not a customer for this right now, but if a stock offered a ready solution to the consistent feeding problems Ive had, it might prompt me to actually be interested in a kimber. Long shot, but maybe.

AICS. Having mags with my 84M is a key feature I am looking for. Possibly equal to the grip, butt shape.

What I don’t know is whether the 84M will support OALs >2.82. Factory blind mag will not. If it will, and the mag will, that would be ideal. The 6.5 CM mags on the T3X were nice in that way.

They should be able to. The bottom port is 2.930", and there's plenty of room in the ramp to notch it. The ejection port would have to be notched to match. Can't decide if I'll do that to mine, or just dedicate it to GT cases.

84m is going to get the most traction, but with that said I’ve got an 84L. Would be in for one with a reliable detachable magazine option.

AICs planned around the flush 3 rounder. Any longer and the 84m needs opening up. But allows sleek lines. Would also mean can sell to People with the hunter stock.

I used a Rem 700 magazine spring and follower feed a kimber in a custom chassis. Im not looking at the action now but I think I figured the issue was moving the mag back behind the feed port as the trigger was right there. I have an AICS bottom metal partly modeled up for the Kimber that I was going to setup and find pillar heights for built around a 3 round flush mag.

A guys here modified one to 3.1 and runs it as a 6.5x284. So its doable but a box mag has less bits.

Also its hard to run out of mag space with 22 creed is the 6 really much longer? I have an extremely long throated 95SMKs at 2.82. I have to jump any other projectile a bit if I want it in the neck atleast. Bullet diameter.

The ejection port removes the tips of 2.8" live rounds anyway so a notch is a good idea ill do mine when I lighten my action.

I personally reckon apart from costlier bras the GT makes alot of sense in the kimber over the creed though since they weigh nothing and a little less recoil never hurt. Id even do a DASHER etc if it fed fine.
