Because you are watching with american outfitters, watch european outffiters and you Will find the good price. The tag for a gold medal Alpine Ibex free range is between 20-25k USD then add the expenses.

I did this hunt in November of 2025 and it was $40k.

I went with Corju in Nov for Beceite and had an absolute blast. Couldn’t recommend a better outfit and did some sight seeing a couple days before and after. Everything they did was first class.

If you are going with Fran and you are going to pay the high amounts he usually want, why you don't ask him the best places for tourism?, he also make tourism packages
January usually is the worst month for tourism in Spain and also is not the best for Beceite ibex... If your plan is tourism and good trophies best season between 15 november until 10 december, also in Spring good weather for tourism and good trophies but the hunt for Beceite is in the fields... Is less nice.
If you go Gredos you can visit Toledo and Cáceres. Beceite ibex depends the area, Barcelona and Valencia very nice places and are near. La Alhambra in Granada is very beautiful all the foreigners love it but is far from Gredos and Beceite areas. There are many places to visit in Spain and all of them are beautiful it depends what kind of tourism you prefer... If you say what you like I can help you.

I’ve hunted with Fran twice now and he is absolutely a top notch outfit. First time I did the becetie and sight seeing. Second did 2 trophy roe bucks and brought my wife then toured for a week all over Spain. His wife runs a travel/ sight seeing outfit called unwritten Spain and takes care of all the plans and personally guides them. Everything from front to back is first class and you will have an amazing trip. I’m hoping to go back for a Gredos in the next couple years. If you need anything else please reach out.

Fran probably is nowdays one of the best and most reputable outffiters here in Spain, if you go with him you Will be succesful and you Will enjoy the experience for sure, there are others also good.

For what it is worth, I have been to Spain twice and will be going a third time this Oct. I have completed the Spanish Ibex Slam, a Mallorcan Boc and an Iberian Mouflon Sheep. This Fall will be going for three Chamois, working on the Capra World Slam. The Outfitter I used was Spain Safaris, the main contact is Pedro Pablo Alejandre. They were fabulous. I would highly recommend. I had my wife with me every step of the way. She had a ball! We spent a week sight-seeing each time and had great food and wine.

Yes, totally possible. For the vast majority of spanish hunters, It is the Queen of the hunts, the favourite, although always is better to make with your own dog.
He can organice without doubts and you Will be enjoying one of the most clasical and ancient hunts here, you Will no regret.
