Southwest desert elk.

Hello, I was wondering if anybody on here has ever hunted the southwest desert in Utah for elk late season rifle? My wife drew the tag this year I’m going to head down this weekend and start scouting and setting up cams. I just wanted to talk with some people and see how there experiences was on that unit/hunt. Thanks

Dunno about elk, but we hunted it for Antelope. We entered it from NV in the NW corner. Some good looking mts. South of there. Call the biologist. He was very helpful on antelope.
