Southwest desert elk.

Hello, I was wondering if anybody on here has ever hunted the southwest desert in Utah for elk late season rifle? My wife drew the tag this year I’m going to head down this weekend and start scouting and setting up cams. I just wanted to talk with some people and see how there experiences was on that unit/hunt.
