Most guys just use a solid mustache wax a good fine tooth comb.

That's the classic, reliable way train it daily and it'll stay straight without gadgets.

If your stache is curly stubborn, a cheap heated beard straightener brush like Wild Willies or similar works well for quick touch ups. Wax is still king for hold though.

Skip fancy mustache keepers overkill for most. Keep it simple.

I’d suggest growing it out till it can be shaped. Give it a few more months and use bear grease. If it can treat boots, it probably works on mustaches.
