I lived with Canadians and knew many more from college back in the early 80s. At least then they were pretty much just like me without too many cultural differences that mattered. I would like to be shed of about half the people here in the US.

Going to be a lot of growing pains here, but in three years we will be way ahead as a nation. We have spent 70 years allowing outside voices to determine the value of our resources and our direction as a Nation.

Once we begin to withhold power, crude, medical isotopes and rare earth metals the negotiations will be interesting. Its a big world out there, and we have a great opportunity to pivot out of the shadow of the U.S economy.
