Anybody have any experience with this brand?

Ive been debating one of these for work and my own hunting for a while now. Researched the big names, Bakcou, QuietKat, etc, but never heard of this one and cant find a terrible amount of info on them using my google-fu.

Have a chance to pick up a very lightly used one.

What happened to good old peddle bikes. Great wat to stay in shape.

Never heard of them, you can probably find YouTube reviews I would imagine.

I went down an e-bike rabbit hole after turkey season, it’s endless!

I would look at non hunting branded bikes mostly.

Still not sure I’ll get one anytime soon but probably in the next 5 years, you can cover some ground efficiently!

Another general question on them........how are they for cross county bushwhackin', "off trail" use?

I have a regular fat tire pedal bike. On a two track or good cow/game trail is one thing. But man, I dont want to off trail one for too long.

I located a pair of coyotes one morning off about two miles. I cut that distance to about a half mile in no time with the bike, but im not gonna lie, I was doing the dry heaves (that last hill was brutal).

Ive been looking to.
That one looks to have a hub drive motor. Most of the "name brand" bikes that aren't hunting bikes are using a mid drive system. Most are made by Bosch.
Idk what price your looking at but I Just found a specialized mid drive bike full suspension for about 2k. And its suppose to weigh about 1/2 of the advertised weight on that bike.

Look at the Senada brand e-bikes. I bought one for my nephew and it's an awesome bike for the money. Goes 35mph and it's a very good quality bike. He weighs 250lbs and it pulls him around and up hills no problem. They have fat tire mountain type bike too.

Are they legal to use off the trail? My understanding is that they are classified the same as an offroad motorcycle, dirt bike.

If you are talking about “The Big Names”. You’ll be looking at quality EMtb bikes made by Trek, Specialized, Giant, Santa Crus, etc. not crappy bikes component and weight wise like Quiet Cat. If the specs don’t list who made the components like the fork, shocks, and brakes you will be buying crap.

I have a review forthcoming on QuietKat’s Ranger XR. It ships with two batteries, which is a big plus for me. I’ve been really impressed so far, but I’m coming at this from a pure utilitarian view. I’m not a ‘bike’ guy, so components and the ability to recognize the difference as it relates to riding mean less to me.

Where does it say it ships with a spare battery? Thats a nice feature but I couldnt find anything confirming it does.

You're right. It looks like they bumped it down to one battery sometime after I got mine. The price has also been bumped down accordingly.
